Melani joined Home of Guiding Hands in 2017 as a Human Resource Professional and is currently the Executive Assistant to the President/CEO. As a young professional, she worked in Property Management for 10 years gaining excellent customer service skills. She found her passion for helping individuals with disabilities when she worked at a prosthetics manufacturing facility for 18 years as a Medical Biller, Medical Coder, and Office Manager. Since that time, she has been dedicated to the populations we serve by volunteering her time for Graham Cracker Kids, Challenged Athletes Foundation, and Wounded Worriers Project. Melani attended the University of Massachusetts School of Business and has a Certificate in Non-Profit Management.  She also attended Grossmont College, receiving a Certificate in Medical Office Administration. In her free time, she can be found with her grandchildren and family at the beach and SeaWorld.
