The Wild West rode East earlier this month – East County, that is. HGH held its first Wild West Casino Night July 16th at Gio Bistro Wine Bar in the heart of downtown La Mesa. The bistro, which is the go-to place for a night of music, hand selected fine wines, tapas, or just people watching, was the perfect location for our event. It was a night of poker, Pai Gow and good times for all who attended.

Our thanks go out to our wonderful sponsors and the night’s committee, headed by HGH board member Dave Keltner. His fellow committee members were Bill Kramer, Drum Macomber, Kim Mitchell, Sharon McQueen, Toni Whisman and Diane Jean. Most of all, the event raised $5,100 for HGH as we continue our programs to help people with developmental disabilities live lives of dignity, promise and possibility.
