27th Annual Golf Classic Pro-Am Tournament Raises over $50,000 Friday October 16th, 2009
Held on Friday, October 16, 2009, the event was a fun-filled golf outing to
benefit people with developmental disabilities assisted by HGH. After
years of hosting a celebrity tournament, HGH returned to its Pro-Am
roots two years ago, in honor of its 40th Anniversary. This year, the same successful format was used where a Southern California PGA golf professional will be paired with each foursome. The day-long
event included 18 holes of golf, breakfast, lunch, contests, prizes,
silent and live auctions, a dinner/awards reception, held
at Sycuan Resort & Casino’s championship Willow Glen course.
Over 200 people attended Home of Guiding Hands’ 4th Annual Arts & Tea Celebration. Held Sunday, May 31st, at the Ronald Reagan Community Center in El Cajon, the event raised funds for Home of Guiding Hands’ (HGH) comprehensive services for people with developmental disabilities and their families.
