Functions |
Teach skills and provide support in all activities of daily life to include: communication, socialization and leisure, personal hygiene, meal prep, household chores, budgeting, safety and medication dispensing. |
Job Qualifications
& Experience |
- No experience required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid California driver’s license
- 24 months of licensed driving experience
Additional Requirements for Residential Service Technicians:
- Proficiency in the English language; is able to read, write, understand.
- Pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol test and health exam/TB screening.
- Pass a criminal record clearance and background check.
- Satisfactorily passes all state required training.
- Clean DMV report.
- Physical ability to bend, stoop, sit, stand, reach, and lift items weighing 30 pounds or less repeatedly over an entire shift, and assist in the lifting and transferring of adults using a variety of adaptive equipment.
- Ability to perform domestic chores such as cooking, laundry, and housecleaning.
- An efficient and reliable means of transportation to and from work.
